For athletes in-season that attend regular practice sessions, we can help you supplement your current training to fill in the missing gaps and allow you to become a more well-rounded athlete, reach your goals faster, and perform at higher levels. Athletes who train with us during the off-season see great advancements in their performance and head into the next season feeling stronger, more confident, and ready to outperform their rivals. Training with us year-round is what we recommend. How do you ensure the quality of virtual training?We use state-of-the-art video conferencing technology and remote monitoring tools to ensure that you receive the same high-quality instruction as you would in person. All trainers and coaches at Flight Elite Athlete Training are nationally certified by a NCCA accredited program and have a proven track record of providing high quality personal training and coaching to help their clients achieve goals and see results safely and efficiently. We prioritize injury prevention and safety before anything else. Athletes always receive one-of-a-kind personalized programs and workouts, never a one-size-fits-all cookie cutter template. Our trainers create well rounded programs that focus on all areas of strength and conditioning for athletic development including power, cardio endurance, stability, reactivity, corrective exercise, flexibility, mental strength, and recovery. Workouts are designed to be challenging and address the athlete's specific weaknesses and imbalances, physically and mentally, to reduce the risk of injury while accelerating performance. Athletes track their progress in the app so trainers can closely monitor progression and make adjustments as needed, even when athletes choose to complete workouts independently without their training on a live video. Athletes who need assistance with exercises and proper form can easily send a message to request a brief instruction call at no additional charge. What is the difference between virtual training and in-person training?Virtual training allows clients to work with a personal trainer remotely through video conferencing, while in-person training takes place at a physical location. Virtual training can be a much more accessible option, especially for athletes who tend to have busier and less predictable schedules. Training virtually means your trainer can meet you no matter where you are and adapt your workouts to the resources you have available. When you train virtually, you'll still get all the same great advantages as in-person training, but it will be more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Can you help me with nutrition and other aspects of performance?Yes! Our trainers will work with you to provide advice and guidance in key areas of your life and daily activities that can have an effect on your progress and performance. Some areas our trainers can help with are recovery, sleep, nutrition, hydration, and stress management. We will always do our best to support your growth as an athlete, however some things are best handled by other professionals. There are boundaries to the types of advice and information personal trainers and coaches are certified to provide. If necessary, your trainer may recommend you reach out to a certified nutritionist or medical professional.

How do I know if virtual training is right for me?Virtual training can be a great option for anyone looking for personalized training with flexibility and convenience. If you have a busy schedule, travel often, or have limited transportation, virtual training can provide you with all of the same benefits as in-person training, without requiring you to be present at a specific location. Training virtually with us means you decide when and where you train. Your trainer will create your personalized training program to align with the resources and equipment you have available, to place you on track to reach your goals. You can choose to follow along with each workout in our app with helpful videos and written instructions, or you may book a session that fits into your schedule to complete the workout on a live video call with your trainer. Virtual training can also be a more affordable option. We understand that being an athlete is not always cheap and at Flight we want to make sure everyone has the chance to see their full potential. Our services are offered at a wide range of prices so you can choose the option that works best for you. Your trainer will design your workouts so you can complete them in the space and with the resources already available to you. We will never require you to purchase a gym membership or workout equipment, all we ask is that you have appropriate attire and footwear to complete your workouts safely.

How do you create personalized training plans for clients?Our trainers work closely with clients to understand their goals, abilities, and any limitations or injuries. We then use that information to create a customized training program that is tailored to each individual. Everyone starts at Flight with a free consultation where your trainer will gather the information they need to create your personalized program and workouts. Within 48 hours of your consultation, your trainer will present you with your program and introduce you to our app where you can complete each workout and keep your trainer up to date with your progress. If you need any adjustments to your program, your trainer can make those changes and you'll see them reflected in the app instantly.

What happens if I have technical difficulties during my session?Our trainers are equipped to handle technical difficulties and will work with you to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. Make sure your account is up to date with your phone number and contact preferences so your trainer can reach out if there are video connection issues during your appointment. If technical issues cause you to miss some or all of your appointment, your trainer will work with you to reschedule.

Can I cancel or reschedule training sessions?Yes, you can cancel or reschedule training sessions, progress check-ins, and consultations. We kindly ask that you provide us with a 24-hour notice. Failure to provide notice may result in loss of the appointment with no refund.

How do I schedule training sessions?You can schedule sessions on our website or by contacting your trainer directly. If you are unable to book online or reach your trainer, please contact us directly so we can help you out. You may only book a session when there is open availability. If you don't see any openings on the calendar when you want to book a session, reach out to your trainer to see if they can put you on a waitlist for cancellations or if they have the capacity to add a session to their schedule.

How often will I have training sessions?The frequency of training sessions will depend on your goals, schedule, and needs. Your personalized training program will include all of the workouts you need to complete in the app. You may choose to complete these workouts on your own, or you may book a session to complete the workout with your trainer on a live video call. You are not required to book sessions to complete your workouts, however sessions can be helpful to ensure you complete each exercise properly with your trainer available to provide guidance, instruction, and encouragement. Our trainers will work with you to determine the best recommended schedule for you. You ultimately have the choice on how frequently you want to book a session with your trainer.

How do I pay for training?We accept standard forms of payments including credit/debit card. We do not accept cash or checks. If you would like to use a gift card or promo code, you may apply them during checkout. All training must be paid for in advance, you will not be able to book a session until it has been paid for in full. If you have purchased a membership with recurring payments, the primary form of payment you use at checkout will be charged for recurring payments unless you change it in your account or cancel the membership.

How is personal training different from virtual coaching?Simply put, virtual coaching is more of an independent training option while personal training is more direct with additional real-time trainer-athlete interaction. Virtual coaching provides you with all of the workouts, recovery plans, and other training plans you need to reach your goals through your personalized training program so you can complete all of your training on your own and in your own time based on the assigned training schedule. You will utilize video examples, pictures, and detailed descriptions to complete exercises without the supervision of a certified personal trainer, and you will only meet with your trainer for progress check-ins rather than full workout sessions. Personal training athletes also receive a personalized training program, but most or all workouts are completed with the certified personal trainer present to coach, push, and motivate the athlete beyond what they often can for themselves in a safe and controlled environment. Personal training athletes usually don’t schedule progress check-ins because any necessary assessments are typically completed during sessions.

Personalized training programs are designed to fit into and supplement your current training, and personal training sessions will be coordinated to fit into your schedule. So whether it’s the middle of your season, your season just ended, or you’re prepping for next season, we’ll get you on the fast track to achieving your goals.

From there, your trainer will build your personalized training program to include all workouts, recovery plans, and any other relevant plans or recommendations (sleep, nutrition, etc.). You’ll work together with your trainer to determine the best session time length for your training needs and schedule personal training sessions on their calendar. Once your program is complete, you will be able to view it in the training app and get started with your scheduled training. Every day will include scheduled workouts, recovery sessions, and other relevant plans, regardless of if you have a personal training session scheduled or not, so you can continue to progress. During sessions, your trainer will coach, push, and motivate you so you can maximize the benefits you get out of each rep. Your trainer will help you learn how to execute exercises with proper from and intensity, while pushing you to your limits safely. Completing workouts outside of sessions is easy with the help of video examples, pictures, and detailed descriptions. During sessions your trainer will adapt your workout as needed to ramp up or dial down the intensity based on your body’s response, and they will provide alternative exercises if needed. Outside of sessions, your trainer can be easily reached with the in-app chat feature to provide assistance. Your trainer will monitor your skills, abilities, and body movements during sessions and may regularly have you complete assessments to track your progress and ensure program effectiveness. As your skills, abilities, and goals evolve, so will your personalized training program. Your trainer will make sure you are constantly making progress and reaching higher levels.

You can also complete workouts on days without a scheduled session with easy to follow exercise videos, pictures, and descriptions so you can easily track your results and progress in the app over time. The in-app chat feature allows you to connect instantly with your trainer whenever you need, and app integrations allows you to easily connect your smartwatch training data and MyFitnessPal information. Easily manage your profile and review payment history, check-in and session balance, personal measurements, and more. Connect no matter where you are in the app on your smart devices, or log in via a mobile or desktop browser. Personal training sessions You will meet with your trainer regularly for live, one-on-one personal training sessions. You and your trainer will work together to determine the best session time length and coordinate schedules to book your sessions on your trainer’s calendar. They will ensure exercises are executed with proper form, safely, and with control to prevent injuries and avoid imbalances. Program effectiveness, progress tracking, and compliance monitoring All of your training results and data are collected in the app and reviewed daily by your trainer. Your trainer will use data collected during personal training sessions, from movement and skill evaluations, and from workouts completed on your own to ensure program effectiveness, track progress, and monitor compliance. Program compliance means we’re making sure you’re staying on track with all assigned workouts, recovery plans, and other plans assigned to you within your personalized training program. Regularly scheduled personal training sessions make it easy to maintain a high compliance percentage. However, if you are assigned training to complete on your own outside of sessions, skipping these assignments will cause your compliance to fall. Your program is designed for you to reach your goals in the timeframe determined by you and your trainer. Missing assigned workouts or other training plans can slow your progression, so we closely monitor compliance so we can set you up for success. If your program compliance begins decreasing, your trainer will connect with you to discuss the cause and determine solutions for better compliance moving forward. Program effectiveness is determined by analyzing your training results and other data collected and reported in the training app and during sessions. Our certified professionals use science backed methods to ensure your personalized training program is effective in progressing you towards your goals. If progression slows or is off track, your trainer will connect with you to reevaluate your training needs and make any necessary updates to your program so you can continue progressing. Trainer priority and guaranteed availability As a personal training athlete, you will be considered one of our VIP clients. That means you will be on your trainer’s priority list and receive guaranteed availability on your trainer’s calendar to book sessions. When you book recurring sessions on your trainers calendar, that slot will continue to be reserved for you until discontinue booking that time. While we can’t always guarantee your preferred time slot unless you reserve recurring appointments in advance, your trainer will always do their best to fit you into their schedule as close to your preferred time as possible. Additionally, there may be times where your trainer has planned time off, away from work, for vacation, personal, or health reasons. If this is the case, you will be notified before their scheduled absence so you can coordinate schedules, book appointments, and plan accordingly. Regardless of which type of training program you receive from us, they are all created by certified personal training professionals to ensure the highest and safest quality and results. Personalized training programs are created by a personal trainer after meeting for a free consultation. They are designed based on your specific needs, abilities, and goals. These custom, one of a kind training programs are our most recommended option for serious athletes, newer athletes, and athletes who want to get the most out of each training session. Everything from warm-ups to workouts to recovery are included in a scheduled format that is closely monitored and updated monthly based on your progress, goals, and feedback. Personalized training programs are available to all personal training clients who meet regularly for live virtual training sessions, as well as virtual coaching clients who have been matched with a trainer. To get started and receive your personalized training program, book a free consultation. Pre-made training programs are created by our certified personal trainers to allow athletes to follow a training program independently. These programs will typically focus on a specific goal, area of performance, or group of people, like improving vertical jump or strength and conditioning for master’s runners. While not as individualized as our personalized training programs, athletes can rest assured that these pre-made programs are versatile and were designed to adapt and be adjustable to meet the needs of athletes of different ability levels. These programs are a great option for athletes who are independent, on a budget, or looking for new training ideas to add to, supplement, or replace their current training. Pre-made training programs do not require you to be a personal training or virtual coaching client. Even if you have not completed a free consultation with us, you can still purchase and complete pre-made training programs.
